Frequently Asked Questions
How do I use a gift card for a painting workshop?
Whether you received a physical gift card or an electronic gift card, you may use those funds for an encaustic workshop or in-store at Element. The online booking app for workshops does not accept the gift card code, so please reserve your spot by calling or stopping by the store. You'll just want to be sure to bring your gift card to the class or have a visual of it on your phone.
Find current available workshops here and you may reserve your spot online if you're not using your gift card funds to pay for your workshop deposit.
What do I need to bring to a painting workshop?
All materials are provided for the workshop. As part of the class, you have the option to do a photo transfer. Images will be provided to practice the skill but if you'd like to use one of your own photos, you may email the image ahead of time to firstname.lastname@example.org so that Leah can prepare the photo and size it appropriately. Please send it, along with the date of your class as soon as possible.
You may want to dress in something that is not super-special to you as you may get wax or paint on your clothing.
What is the Policy on Returns/Exchanges/Refunds?
We do not offer returns/exchanges/refunds on original artwork, large furniture pieces or custom furniture. We will accept return items that are unused, still packaged (if applicable) and undamaged and will issue a store credit.
What if I need an item shipped?
If you've purchased a large item that needs to be shipped outside of the area, we can package and ship but the cost for shipping will be your expense. We'll be able to estimate the shipping cost but the actual cost may vary slightly from the estimate.
If you've purchased a large item and you need it delivered in Wallowa or Union County, we offer delivery services. It will be a $100 delivery fee in Wallowa County and a $200 fee in Union County.
